Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 14 October 2026 • Domain: reviewmonkey.in
1. Introduction
Review Monkey ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website reviewmonkey.in. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, and process personal data when you use our business dashboard, QR code services, or public customer review assistance pages.
2. Information We Collect
Business Owner Data: When registering, we collect your full name, email address, password hash, business profile details (name, category, locality, description, logo), and Google review link. If you purchase paid entitlements, billing information is handled directly through our payment partner, Razorpay.
End-Customer / Guest Data: When guests scan a business QR code and generate review suggestions, we do NOT require login, email, phone numbers, or Google account credentials. We process transient review inputs (star rating, selected keyword chips, chosen language, and optional notes) strictly to draft review options.
3. How Information Is Used
- To provide business owners with customizable review assistance QR codes and counter standees.
- To generate 3 natural review drafts using OpenAI server-side APIs without passing personal customer identities.
- To calculate anonymous aggregate statistics (scan counts, draft generations, copy rates).
- To maintain billing records and prevent fraudulent payment activity.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Review generation drafts are retained for 30 days to support customer copy retries and deduplication, after which transient draft content is automatically purged. Business accounts and keyword records are maintained until the owner requests account deletion.
5. Google Policy & Third-Party Integration
Review Monkey is an independent utility. We do not access, store, or transmit Google user tokens. All review postings occur directly on Google's domain via official user interaction. We do not engage in review gating or star autofill.
6. Contact Information
For questions regarding your data or to request account deletion, contact our privacy officer at support@reviewmonkey.in.
